Peggy has been singing, teaching, speaking, and sharing the message of her faith in Jesus Christ since the day she received Him as Lord and Savior. God has placed in her heart a deep passion and desire for ministry. Peggy is committed to sharing her life with others who have struggled with depression, low self-esteem, lack of purpose, grief, and the many obstacles that keep them from living the life God has designed for them.
Peggy was born into a family of fully committed believers who had a love for Jesus and a heart for service. With a mother of British descent and a father of military/Church Music Pastor background they both served faithfully in church bringing with them four sons and one daughter. Peggy does not take lightly the blessing to have such a strong Christian foundation. It was during her ninth year of high school kneeling on the floor of the church sanctuary that her father led her to Christ. From that time forth her heart has been in love with Jesus and her life dedicated to a legacy of ministry. After receiving Christ, God began to open the doors for ministry and Peggy was spending many weekends singing in churches all throughout Alabama, Georgia, and other surrounding states.
In 1981, Peggy married a wonderful man who was also in full time ministry with a contemporary Christian group, The Imperials. Peggy married Tom Reeves and moved to Nashville, Tennessee. (Tom is presently a producer/engineer and together they own a recording studio/production company called Westpark Creative Group.) After marriage, Peggy’s ministry continued mainly in her local church as she began her family and gave birth to her daughter Shauna in 1984 and her son Kyle in 1990. Again, God blessed her with a wonderful talented Christian family and together they desire to live a life pleasing to God and faithful in service
In 1990, after the tragic death of her youngest brother, Peggy was again called out to ministry as she began teaching, singing, speaking and serving for Lifeway Christian Youth events at Ridgecrest, Glorieta, and Shocco Springs Baptist Conference Centers. Peggy also served at Disciple Now weekends all over the southeastern region as a teacher and singer. After nearly 10 years of focusing mainly on youth ministry, God began to turn her heart toward women’s ministry. Eventually Peggy found herself teaching women’s Bible study’s, singing for women’s events and currently a ministry of speaking and worship leading. Peggy believes that her life experiences, her gifts, and her struggles have all come into a focused purpose and passion to minister to women and encourage them in their life journey.
Throughout this journey Peggy has spent many hours being formally educated in discipleship and leadership at New Orleans Baptist Seminary, continuing her education with a B.S. in Leadership and Ministry, and a private certification in Life Coaching through The Institute of Life Coaching/Christian Track where she has completed her first 30 hrs of training. Peggy is also a C.L.A.S.S graduate of “Christian Leaders, Authors, and Speakers Seminars” and a graduate of “Speak Up With Confidence.”
Presently, Tom and Peggy are experiencing the “empty nest” stage of life as their daughter Shauna will be marrying in September and son Kyle, is off to college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Peggy is embracing a new stage of life with anticipation of God’s faithfulness and goodness, as she desires to commit even further to God’s call on her life in ministry.Ready to start working with Peggy?
